Every people think that the main cause of that type of odor is sweat but it is totally wrong. Root cause of bad smell of armpit, shoes and socks is the bacteria that are attracted towards the sweat that have been produced in these parts.

To understand the cause of smell of those body parts you need to understand how our body sweat. Our body contain two types of sweat gland eccrine and apocrine. Eccrine gland opens directly to the surface of our body. Such as palm, foot and other non-hairy body parts.
